Well with WOTC officially announcing D&D 5e today I thought it was a good excuse to recycle this toon I did when they announced D&D 4e four years ago.
Enjoy!!! (And feel free to share it).

LOL boy oh boy do I miss the days of TSR. WOTC have once again managed to take the spirit of D&D and break it a little bit more.
In retrospect I only regret all the more breaking down and giving into the 3E rush back when. I only recently, utterly sick of D20 and then not even being able to touch 4E, took the time and costs to track down and aquire copies of every hackmaster 4e book on amazon. Well not all, some are just to damn expensive now sadly. And I say CURSE WOTC for not letting kenzercor renew thier right to the old AD&D rules for all times. A px on them I say A POX!.
You know Jolly you should do a rewrite of your Gary,Please Tell me why??!! lyrics and like do a youtube singing it or something LOL!
Except that their whole goal is to simplify the game and make complex parts modular so hopefully the damned “edition wars” will end. A laudable goal, hoping they can pull it off. They certainly hired the right people to give it a shot.
I’d like to see more of Frank Meisler’s work and where to purchase. I lkooed on eBay and found only 1 poster in the Art section under his name.
I enjoyed 3E..it for the most part mirrored the house rules I used to fix 2nd edition. 4E seemed far too much like a video game to me, right down to the idea of per-combat/ per-day abilities, like so many of the turn based RPG video games.
My biggest complaints about 3E was the changes made to some spells, either making them near useless (haste) or just flipping the name for some reason.
