Another “director’s cut” of sorts of a KODT classic — this one orignally appeared in the KODT Diamond Special #1. I had a lot of fun working on this one. WhenI started working in color a few years ago it was one of the first strips I went back to redo with the new art (taking advantage of the opportunity to expand the story line and play around with it).

Excellent strip, Jolly. Thank you for entertaining me for all these years. It’s great to see the web strips up again. And condolences for the death of your daughter. I felt like I knew her. The editorial by you and your wife in 174 was very moving.
I own this comic and it was great to see it online to bring back the memories. It is one of my favorites — love the ending!
